Research Focus

I am a scholar of European democratic politics. My research concentrates on political competition in Europe, studying issues that political parties contest across the continent, assessing the strategies of partisan actors, and analysing the preferences and voting patterns of voters.

I am particularly interested in the impact of voter profiles, such as ethnicity and exposure to social risks, on political attitudes, voting behavior, and forms of political representation.
